Online Marketing Made Simple

This is a site about online marketing, which I believe is a simple thing to do.

If you can use a computer and put one word in front of the other in a way that other people can understand, you can be an online marketer.

Whether or not you make a profit from your work is dependent on a number of other things.  Things like:  how much you work, what you are trying to sell,  do people with money want what you are selling. A number of different things. And just like any other business, nobody can guarantee that you will make any money at doing it.

But the basic idea of online marketing is pretty simple.

Put your offer in front of people who might want to buy it. That’s the core idea.

If you can work from that perspective, you can learn all the other stuff you need to know and you can expand on the number of ways you attract people to your sales message, with the goal of getting more people to see it.

If you can send email, logon to Facebook, use Word, Twitter, Excel, or send a text message, you probably have most of the skills you need to become an online marketer.

What you don’t know, you can learn.

Its really pretty simple stuff.

There are quite a few people who would like you to believe that they already know the secrets, tips and tricks you need to become an online marketer. And they are quite willing to sell them to you.

But you know what? Just because you don’t know it yet, does not make it a secret, a tip or a trick. All it means is that you don’t know it yet.

And if they can learn it, so can you.

If you want to believe in secrets, tips or tricks, or if you want to believe that everybody else is smarter than you, you are probably in the wrong place to read about online marketing.

Because after teaching and coaching and helping others start their own online businesses from scratch, I believe that almost anyone can start their own online marketing business.
