I love the internet. It has been kind to me in a way that no other sort of institutional idea has ever been.

I remet my wife online, we had gone to high school together many moons ago (me, not her) and I found her by going to our class reunion website. That was fabulous.

Online now, I love the amount of information that is available. And in particular I like three kinds of information:

Articles and programs that help me make money online. I write about tools that help me build websites, promote the sites and my opinions about what it takes to put together and run a successful online business. One of the topics I write about in this area, is how local businesses can take advantage of the internet to help their offline business. A very cool topic about which I have very strong ideas.

Information about how to save money online. I love coupons, and discounts and deals. But more than that, I love getting great value for money that I spend. If I can get great things for free (and there are a lot of those things online), I will try to get them for free. But if it is a better deal to pay for something because the value for me is a lot higher than trying to use a freee solution, I will choose to pay. No big deal, I just value my time highly and many times (not always) free things online tend to mean that I will be putting time into something that I really need to spend somewhere else.

Lots of ideas on how to enjoy life. This covers a whole range of ideas, from teeth whitening, to losing weight, to taking care of your pet’s health, to baby gifts, to joining a wine of the month club to all kinds of cool things. Kind of like things I really like that I think others might like as well.

I am not a guru of ay kind, I just walk around the internet (so to speak) and look at ideas that I like thinking about. Sometimes I put those ideas into an system that I use to: for instance, promote my websites so they rank well in the search engines, lose a few pounds, make cool Web 2.0 graphics easily, and sometimes I just let them pass by.

But I like to write and explore ideas. If that sounds like something you would like to do as well. Please come by often.
