I have been posting some in the WF today. it seems there are some good threads there that a lot of people are interested in pursuing.

Sometimes it is almost as if the threads that are the most popular are written by some of the better known marketers in the forum. Sometimes those posts are really good and sometimes they are not so good.

I even started a thread today

Success or Failure thread on the WF

about successful versus failure because this is something I have been interested in for a long time. I think that some people to succeed and some people expect to fail.

I don’t think there is anyone who can guarantee that you or anyone else will succeed at making money online. And pretty much, it is illegal to do that these days. that is a good thing.

But what I was thinking about was more like succeeding in general, and why some people believe that they will succeed at accomplishing something and why some people think you are almost guaranteed to fail. There have been some people posting in the thread and while it might not be a hugely controversial topic, one of the responses got a “Thank you” from Willie Crawford. And that was pretty cool.

I do believe that it is important to believe that you will succeed when you start anything, not just an online marketing business. I think it is a great deal more fun and really quite enjoyable to htink that you will succeed rather than starting out by thinking that you are going to fail.

As you can probably see, I am making a few changes over the next couple of days to my blog’s appearance. And the amount of posting I am doing.

I am using Flexsqueeze, which I really like. Things I like I do recommend to other folks to use in their online businesses, and this is one of them. You can check it out here:

Yes, you can safely assume that all links here are affiliate links. No harm in that, I am a marketer after all.

I am not the wizard of wordpress, so I am not convinced this will work correctly, but my online friend Oz from the WF, has made a great post on his blog and you can read it here:

Now if I have done this correctly, that should be a live link and the trackback part ought to work.  We shall see.

Anyway, the post is about trying to make things in IM simpler than they are right now to understand and there has been a fair amount of conversation about experiences in startin a business while trying to wade through the murky cloud of IM guru nonsense. It is a post with comments worth reading.

Its no secret online that if you wnat to work as any kind of marketer you need at least one website. And if you are (for example) an affiliate marketer, who is giving away bonuses for sleas of a Clickbank product, you probably ned more than one website or at least a website you can edit easily.

Enter my favorite – XSitePro website design software

You may not have a dozen websites that need updating on a regular basis, you may not need a large variety of redirect pages going to CPA offers, and you may not run sites around your own products.

But I do, and XSite Pro helps me do all those things with great ease.

A few months back I started working with Ranking Loophole from Dave Kelly and Chris Rempel. And from start to finish, right out of the gate, it took me 97 minutes to put up three sites using XSitePro web design software.

I used the templates included with XSitePro and when I was done, I used the included FTP routine to upload them to my domain. Truth is, it took almost as long to pick out my domain names as it took to put up the sites.

This is a program I recommend absoutely with no reservations at all. Money back guarantee. Great customer support. Easy installation. And loads of templates included.

So if you are looking for a nice site designer, please consider XSitePro.

I like graphics. I think they can enhance websites when done the right way. And most of the time I really like the newer looking Web 2.0 style graphics with shadows and glosses and diagonals.

That’s why I made the header for this site with a big old

Z from Quick Web Creations

right in the middle of the header.

Now I make no claims to be a design guru. I like my Z and the truth is, I think it adds something to my site.

And it took me all of 63 seconds to make it. I used a site called Web 2.0 Creations run by a gentleman named Bill Ortell. Good guy.  Good site.

You log on to his site, and you can immediately start creating snazzy Web 2.0 creations. OK, I’ll admit the first time I did it, it took me a few minutes to figure out all the different controls.

I got to choose the colors, the style of the font, the amount of shadow, the gradients, the gloss, the diagonal stripes, in short I could choose all those things that made my Z a Web 2.o style  graphic. And that first time, it probably took me more like 4 minutes, but the learning curve is really fast.

Headers, buttons, standalone graphics, you can make pretty much anything you want.

I like it. Its different. And Mr. Ortell is a standup guy.

Check it out and if you are needing some very nice graphics today without waiting 2 years to learn Photoshop,  get it for yourself and make you sites sing.

I hope you are having a great day today.
