Social Monkee Review
I like good content. I like content that is unique and well written and sounds like it makes sense when I read it. I write a lot outside of the IM market because that is where most of my sites are.
I use my own Evergreen Content System to create content for my niche sites that works, reads easily and ranks well. It is one of the things that I like to do. Lots of folks like to design graphics and websites and all kinds of things, but I like to write.
There are some times, however, that I use tools to help me get backlinks to my sites. Truth is, that most of the time, I don’t need many backlinks to rank well. I need some, that’s for sure, I just don’t need many. And that is pretty cool. In some of my niche markets I have established authority sites and that content gets indexed really quickly. So I use very lightweight backlinking for my own pages to get some rankings in the search engines. I don’t need anything really heavy duty,
When I first start up a new project, sometimes I will use some of the quicker backlink builders but not so much anymore. Lots of people use those often, I just don’t happen to do that.
But every once in a while I come across a cool idea that is good to share. And that is what I am writing about here in this SocialMonkee review.
Check out the SocialMonkee site
.
Here is something they say on their website, which I happen to believe in, especially if your site is new or in a very competitive market where you are trying to rank for some really competitive keyword phrases.
“Building backlinks to your pages is an essential part of SEO (short for Search Engine Optimization) for two reasons. The first reason is that it helps your pages get indexed faster, which is very important because you want the search engines to find them as soon as possible and crawl them regularly. The second reason is that it helps your pages get higher search engine rankings for the keywords of your choice. “
They go on to talk about how boring building backlinks can be. And time-consuming as well. I have to agree with that for sure. One of the big reasons I developed the Evergreen system was that I enjoyed writing content a lot more than spending my time building backlinks.
One of the things I like about the Social Monkee system is that it is pretty easy to use. I have used many of the big time link building systems out there, and many of them are so hard and confusing to use that I just stopped using them. Those others just took so long; it wound up not being worth my time to use them. A sad story for sure. Good ideas that lacked a bit in the execution of the product.
Social Monkee is different. This morning it took me about 12 minutes to write up a little blurb about one of my niche sites, drop it into The Best Spinner and then copy and paste it over to the SocialMonkee website.
Then I created a couple of titles to spin and some tags and pressed the submit button. Worked like a charm. Easy, simple, clean interface (which I really like) OK, the truth is I don’t usually go for cute ideas in internet marketing. And this one has a monkey head icon for the brand management and the word monkey misspelled to be monkee. Usually, those things alone would be enough to keep me from using it.
But I checked around the site a bit, and they just added the spinner part, so I decided to give it a shot.
Hard to beat because it’s free. The links come from distinct IP addresses. Each site your link gets submitted to is on its own Class C address and on its own domains. Some are on different class A’s and B’s also. And they have geographic diversity, which is always a big benefit.
Even better is its free. Is there an upgrade? Absolutely, and I think that is a great idea. Especially the way they have it structured. Which is on a very reasonable one time payment basis. I don’t know about you, but I get tired of subscriptions every month. As a matter of fact, I just started looking for a replacement for 2 programs I was using that provided social site backlinks like Social Monkee does.
Between those 2 other programs I was spending $35.00 a month and I still had to do a whole bunch of work. I don’t knock folks for trying to get a decent price for their services, but whern I can find a reasonable alternative that is free, or a small one time lifetime payment for a really big link package, I am going to consider making a change.
If free backlinks from social sites (Google’s going to start counting this kind of link even more now) sounds like something you might be interested in finding out more about, just click the link below. Free, fast, backlink diversity. Sounds pretty good to me.

I was just looking at it to see if it was worth getting the premium account so I can do 100 links per time rather than 25… I think I might go for it as Im doing my SEO myself but its rather hard work building all these links myself!!!
I think it is worth it to build some link diversity into your backlinking portfolio. And you get a lot more links per day. It is something you have to put on your to do list to make sure you do it consistently. It works better that way. It’s actually a pretty nice little system. I like it a lot. I don’t usually go for the cute factor like with the monkee logo, but it does not stop the system from working for me.
I have been using the premium version for just over a week now. I make sure I ping the RSS feeds as they suggest. But I do not keep submitting my main url but also any url which has a link to my main url, like articles I have posted and event directory listing. The idea being to give these pages more autority and to pass that back to my main page.Does anyone else do this or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Using your support pages in your Social Monkee account is a good way to spread your links around. With a premium account especially, you can also bookmark other authority sites in your niche market.
This helps your link profile look more natural and is also good in an adding to the overall benefit of the internet kind of way.
It sounds like you have a pretty good plan in place for using this most excellent resource.
